Athens International Airport (ATH) has one main terminal, Terminal 1, which is where Ryanair operates. This terminal handles both international and some local aircraft. The Ryanair ATH terminal impressed me with its efficiency and friendliness towards travelers during my recent visit. Ryanair's check-in procedure was easy, especially since self-service kiosks were available for printing boarding cards and checking bags.
The terminal provides a range of amenities to make waiting more comfortable, such as restaurants and shops. I discovered the large gate areas with lots of sitting and charging stations after passing security. The boarding procedure was efficiently coordinated, and finding the correct gate was made simple by the signage. Overall, traveling from ATH Terminal 1 with Ryanair was easy, with plenty of information and efficient services ensuring a smooth journey from check-in to departure.
