Oh, how I miss the long, balmy times of summer, especially on the cold, damp day in February.

Today's wedding has lifted my spirits, using the hand-tied, seasonal flowers, elegant and floral bridesmaids' gowns and utterly gorgeous Jesus Peiro gown worn through the bride. Let's visit Surrey.

"We decided to get married in Henry's childhood home garden since it is one of our favourite places in the world. The back of the garden expires a small hill and it has the most stunning sunsets on the farm nearby. We loved the thought of having a marquee there and being able to allow it to be our own."

The bride carried a glorious bouquet of seasonal flowers, developed by her super-talented mum and aunt.

"It meant a lot to us to possess flowers in all these special places on our big day."

Lydia wore her favourite perfume, Le Labo Santal, and green velvet sling-backs having a bow around the front from FeelTimes. Lydia selected her flowing, off-the-shoulder, halterneck princess wedding dresses at feeltimes.com.

"It would be a great experience, and I found my dream dress on my small first visit. I'm unsure I ever might have picked it myself but I immediately loved it."

"I wanted something that would be a bit different but that I would also believe comfortable in a summer garden wedding. I thought about being able to move and dance and usually not being worried about what I was eating or drinking. I loved it felt a little different using the back detail and ruffles."

"I wore pearl and gold earrings from my mum's closest friend who died from cancer a few years ago. She was just like a second mum to my sisters and I and might have been the first around the dance floor with my mum. Her daughter wore the earrings on her big day, then my big sister wore them and today I have."

As the couple's guest list was restricted by Covid, the recording was super-important to incorporate absent friends within their day.

"We were really lucky that people didn't need to move our date for the wedding. However, I was always conscious that Covid may likely impact your day. We had a variety of versions from the day planned – an amount a 30-person wedding seem like or a 60-person? In the finish, I was lucky to become able to possess forty people within our church service (all in masks) using the rest from the wedding party on Zoom." Click

"We spent the very first year saying I was just really good friends but realised it had been actually in addition to that. We got engaged in Granada, Spain. Henry required a surprise weekend away to celebrate our tenth anniversary and also got down on one knee because the sun transpired. We had been engaged just for under a year along with a half before we've got married."

The bride's father drove her, her sister and her mum towards the wedding inside a soft-top sports vehicle before walking her on the aisle to 'Jerusalem'.

"We couldn't sing within the church due to the restrictions therefore we played 'Jerusalem', a song which means a lot to both of us."

The newly-weds left the church in Henry's sister's soft top mini which had been specially decorated with flowers on their behalf.

"I loved the whole day a lot but a genuine highlight was the ceremony, I knew I'd love this particular part, but I don't think I'd realised precisely how special it might be getting towards the front from the aisle and seeing Henry. The number of people allowed within the church was really small so another incredibly special moment was stepping out of the church and everyone else who had been coming towards the reception was waiting outside in the sunshine to throw confetti. It was this type of happy moment to determine all our friends and family. I think from that moment I didn't stop smiling."

The bridesmaids wore mid-sleeve, floral wrap dresses from FeelTimes, their ruffles perfectly complementing the brides'.

"They wore gold heels and straightforward, gold jewellery. I also bought them each a set of Missoma earrings."

The bride found Love My Dress to become a great supply of inspiration, also finding photographers Emily Steve Photography through our content.

"I loved looking in the real brides and becoming into from what others had done. It was great to determine things in the real world."

"We loved their natural method of shooting, avoiding a lot of posed shots as well as the 35mm film-style that comes across within their photos. They were so great around the day. You hardly even knew these were there also it was great seeing the various areas from the garden that they decided to shoot in. that people hadn't even considered."

"We love the ultimate photos and also the video was the icing around the cake. It's an ideal length to transmit around also it's been amazing to possess a summary from the day to share with individuals who couldn't come too."

The evening dance had confetti canons, music from the Toast Functions DJ along with a first dance to 'Can't Help Falling in Love by Elvis Presley.

"We loved the lyrics within this song and therefore are fans of Elvis. We also liked the idea of going for a mature track that everybody would enjoy. We designed a Spotify playlist having a shortlist of tracks and paid attention to them through lockdown; 'Can't Help Falling In Love was the best choice for us."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"The big day is about both you and your favourite person within the world dealing with celebrating just how much you love each other. In the finish that's all that matters, whatever way it eventually ends up happening. You may have likely spent a little fortune around the day also it will go so, so quickly, so try to consider it all in and revel in it. I would do all of it again if I could."
