Unlocking the Investigation

To unlock the "Turning the Page" investigation, you need to start by bribing two pirates near the dock and Scurlock's quarters. These pirates are marked on your map with a purple rumor icon. They will give you a lead to The Low Tide Tavern in Sainte-Anne. Once you enter the tavern, look for a leaflet by the bar resembling a wanted poster. This leaflet features a picture of Jacques Sorrel and updates your Investigation journal with the first clue.

Sailing to Ile Royale and Plundering Sainte-Amelie

Your next destination is Sainte-Amelie, located southwest of Sainte-Anne in the Ile Royale region. Sainte-Amelie is a small settlement on the southeastern part of the island. To progress with the investigation, you'll need to plunder Sainte-Amelie. Opt for the Plunder action instead of Interact when you approach the settlement.

Destroying the Towers: The first part of the plunder involves taking out two defensive towers. The left tower is relatively easy to destroy with fire-based weapons like Fire Bombard I. For the right tower, which is heavily defended, maintain a safe distance and attack from afar to minimize damage to your ship.
