I recall reading about att/str/def and RS gold what armor/food/supplies should you take. Therefore, I suggested he wear a helmet if you were going to fight Elvarg. However, the man was geared for the combat with Elvarg. I decided to stop fishing and watch the fight.

(Aside. Here's how I defeated Elvarg. It's important to note that I wasn’t interested in Runescape Quests when I was playing, so I probably could have attempted Dragon Slayer sooner than I did. Attack 41. Strength 55. Defense 46. Prayer 43. Two strength potions holy symbol, 26 lobsters, rune longsword, full rune chainbody, rune helm and rune platelegs. Regular gauntlets, boots for safety shield against dragonfire.

Sal's website suggested I should bring the same armor and supplies as the ones Sal suggested. I'd recommend the same armor/supplies to anyone trying to defeat Elvarg, except an amulet of strength in place of the holy symbol, as well as a rune scimitar (in place of the longsword rune).

The guy did a great job of beating Elvarg! He didn't even think about prayer. (Aside, Elvarg isn't a very easy opponent. The weird thing is, for all the higher att/str/def/prayer/armor I had, it seemed like he had an easier battle against Elvarg than I did. Perhaps I didn't face the dragonfire, so it was much easier for him to fight the dragon than for me. Kudos to the guy.

The requirements for Dragon Slayer may not be as high as I thought. Which att/str/def/prayer level were you able to beat Elvarg? I didn't wear any armor when I was fishing in Musa Point. I was too busy fishing at Musa Point to buy armor when the guy went to the volcano. So I went without armor. As I got to the trapdoor, I rushed toward Elvarg's hideout. However, a Lesser Demon spotted me and wanted to fight.

I walked by it, however it kept following me. I was watching Elvarg fight the guy however I did auto-retaliate on. While watching Elvarg's fight I kept an ear on the surrounding events. I managed to beat the Lesser Demon with kicking. Although the Elvarg fight wasn't finished, a Skeleton was determined to take on OSRS buy gold me, so I beat it with self-response kicks. It was my first time trying to beat a Lesser Demon using kicks. It was a fun experience.
