Rune is the most effective nonmem non deg armour. The next best is Granite Body, legs, sheild and helm. Which is mem, and need at least 50 str, and 50 def. However its one of the strongest armours or perhaps the biggest. So it drains run in a crazy way. It also looks boring, the entire set is priced at less than 500k and is used mainly by bots, or so I've heard.

There is also the fighter torso as well as other things you can obtain by playing minigames. It's Dragon armour, which requires 60 def. But, if you cannot afford chain bod or plate bod, which cost 4.5M-5.5M in the range of 9m-10m, u can use rune body, which comes with medium helm and drag legs. Don't use granite body + dragon legs. That's the outfit that bots wear. I have Zammy platebody + Dragon Platelegs.. Looks awsome lol. Most of the top gear are deg, however barrows gear lasts 10+ hours of combat before repairs.
