Step 2: Prepare Your Hair

Step 3: Measure Your Head Circumference

The first step in measuring your head for a wig is to determine your head circumference. To do this, wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your head, which is typically just above your eyebrows and ears. The final measurement you'll need to take is your temple to temple measurement. This refers to the distance from one temple to the other across the back of your head. To measure this, place the end of the measuring tape at one temple and run it across the back of your head to the other temple.
